The corporation is a subsidiary of Malaysia's Hong Leong Group, which is owned by Malaysian entrepreneur Quek Leng Chan. A partnership of TID Residential, Hong Realty, and Intrepid Investment made the second-highest offer of $750 million, which was 4.5% less than the highest offer.
The Lentor Modern property is designated for the construction of a mixed-use building which will include 8,000 square metres of retail space on the ground level. The location will feature three 25-story buildings with up to 600 apartment units, as well as ground-floor facilities including a supermarket, shops, and food and beverage establishments.
The location is located directly opposite to the upcoming Lentor MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line.
